Royale Mechanical Extra Wide Gripper (30mm extra wide) is used by professional carpet fitters & installers as it has 3 rows of pins (instead of 2 rows) which contains up to 35% more pins than standard gripper which helps grip the carpet stronger for any thickness carpets and thick underlays

This wider base of 30mm and extra row of pins makes it more ideal when using ANY type of carpet regardless of its thickness AND thick underlays combined such as Plushwalk 12mm where standard gripper may struggle to grip the carpet. 



Comes pre-nailed with specially designed nails that can be hammered into both wood or concrete subfloors.

The ideal product for stretch fit carpet installations with thicker carpets & underlay over 12mm. This gripper is made from high-grade resin bonded plywood, five-ply (6mm) thickness, machined on one edge to a defined angle and penetrated from the underside by two rows of passivated pins.
